LASER HAIR REMOVAL
How does it work?
Laser hair removal is the most effective and safe way to get rid of unwanted hair. Sedo utilizes two different laser wavelengths to effectively treat light and dark skin tones safely.

Prior to treatment:
- Shave desired treatment areas 24 – 48 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid direct sunlight, spray tans, and tanning lotions for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- No photosensitive medications for 7 days prior to treatment.
- No Accutane for at least 6 months prior to your appointment.
- Avoid chemical or physical exfoliants in the treatment area for at least 2 weeks.
- We cannot treat pregnant or nursing women.
During treatment:
Most clients find Sedo’s laser hair removal comfortable with the utilization of cold air during treatment.
Post treatment:
- Skin may be red and itchy. If you experience irritation of the hair follicle or slight itchiness you may apply Hydrocortisone in the treatment areas.
- No heat, such as saunas, steam rooms, extremely hot showers or strenuous activities for 24 hours post procedure.
- Avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen on treated areas at all times during your laser hair removal series.
- Avoid picking or scratching the treated areas.
- Shaving is permitted.
Maintenance:
Most clients will need at least 8-10 treatments initially with touch ups as needed.

Spider Vein Reduction
How does it work?
Laser light can destroy the vein without damaging your skin.

Clients may feel a stinging sensation during treatment but this usually subsides quickly.
Post treatment:
- Cold compresses may be applied the day of the procedure.
- Hydrocortisone used as needed to relieve any itching.
- Avoid strenuous activity for a minimum of 3 days post-treatment.
- Avoid heat for 3 days (e.g., saunas, steam rooms, or extremely hot showers)
- Avoid sun exposure.
- Avoid scratching or picking the treated areas.
Maintenance:
The recommended time between treatments is 4-6 weeks or longer.

TATTOO REMOVAL
How does it work?
Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors with a high-intensity light beam.
Benefits are:
- Effective fading and removal of tattoos
Prior to treatment:
- Avoid direct sunlight, spray tans, and tanning lotions for a minimum of 2 weeks.
- No photosensitive medications for 7 days prior to treatment.
- No Accutane for at least 6 months prior to your appointment.
- We cannot treat pregnant or nursing women.
During treatment:
Client will have the option to numb the area ahead of time to help minimize the discomfort. Cold air can be used to help reduce the intensity of the treatment.
Post treatment:
- Keep the area clean and dry while healing. Clean with antibacterial soap if needed and pat to dry. Avoid high-pressure water hitting the treated area.
- No heat, such as saunas, steam rooms, hot showers or strenuous sweat inducing activities for a minimum of 48 hours post-procedure.
- Avoid direct sun exposure, hot tubs, pool & salt water for a minimum of 2 weeks or treated area is completely healed.
Maintenance:
The recommended time between treatments is 4-6 weeks or longer.
